Job Description

Kora is seeking a Studio Coordinator in Fremont to contribute to our expanding community. The ideal candidate is passionate about excellent customer service, organic sales, and collaborating with a team. This candidate understands our brand and contributes consistency, warmth, and grounding to the studio environment.

The Studio Coordinator values well-being, yoga, and community. Daily tasks include checking in clients, building relationships with the community, and maintaining the studio environment in alignment with Kora standards.

As a Studio Coordinator, you’ll help support the Kora community and day-to-day studio operations. You’ll help shape the studio experience by providing consistent and excellent customer service, supporting studio operations and projects, and cultivating a positive environment by being personable and friendly. The Studio Coordinator is expected to represent the brand in a professional manner, be highly detail oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Check in clients for classes and workshops

  • Provide high level customer service and hospitality to clients

  • Assist the Studio Manager in daily sales, marketing and operational tasks

  • Maintain the Kora aesthetic, atmosphere, and overall studio experience

  • Prep and reorganize studio before and after each class

  • Support the execution of studio marketing initiatives, workshops, and community events

  • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to support studio goals and growth

  • Receive, apply, and act on feedback thoughtfully and professionally

Qualifications

  • Sales and customer service experience required

  • Must have outstanding hospitality and problem solving skills

  • Must be comfortable taking initiative and handling responsibilities independently

  • Must be a team player 

  • Must be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in the moment

  • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of personalities

  • Must have a positive, can-do attitude

  • Must have a friendly and professional phone and email etiquette

  • Must have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule – weekends, holiday and some early morning/late evening availability required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to kneel, bend, reach, climb, and stand for extended periods of time

  • A current yoga practice and willingness to try new instructors and class formats is a plus

Additional Information

  • This is a part-time, hourly position. 

  • Starting at $22/hr
